American Hustle

This is not about wanting to lead or govern and this sure as hell is not about fighting voter fraud. If this was about voter fraud then how come every single time one of his lawyers stood in a court room with the ability to present their case and prove voter fraud, they admitted they had no proof? Why would they do that if they were only their at the whim of a madman?

Please

Ten months into this pandemic and we are still fighting over basic science. We are still fighting over rights and freedom and the insane interpretation that because we are American we can do whatever we want, whenever we want. Even if it costs lives.

I’m Sorry, 3000

Three thousand Americans died from Covid-19 in one day. Three thousand. 3000 It’s been eleven months since this virus appeared on our shores. We locked down to slow the spread in the beginning. We watched in horror as New York City was filled with death and morgue trucks. We shivered at the stories of nursing homes being overrun. So we…

Coup De Toddler

I know we, as Americans, think of Coups as messy, violent military actions in awful countries in other parts of the world. We see them in our movies and television shows. A rogue general attacking the capital as a political statement.

Return the King, Chapter 3

I have a vision of a story that has been floating in my head for a long time. Elvis, aliens, 70s rock and roll, and David Bowie and Blondie leading an interstellar rescue mission.

Father Time Gone

Martin sat on the park bench and closed his eyes. He listened to the rustling leaves in the trees and the ones already fallen to the ground, dancing across the grass. He tried to focus on the sounds of the children playing and not the high pitch whine coming from the streets behind him. So many familiar sounds. So many…

Catharsis

Four years of feeling the walls crumbling around you and nothing could be done. You could see others like you, feeling the same way as you, and nothing could be done. Four years of watching science be attacked, the climate crisis be mocked, illegal activity be brushed aside and scoffed at. Four years of insults and lies. Four years of chaos.

Presidential Fraud

This is why we voted against him. This is why we tried to convince you to do the same. This was never about Democrat versus Republican. Not for me. You and I can discuss the difference in policy beliefs between the parties all day and I would be okay with an impasse.
